Branwyn

Performance innerwear brand with Shopify webstore faced a unique situation-- their logo belonged to a famous DJ. Although either brand exists in different industries, the DJ was simply too large to contend with and it was time to part ways with the new age symbol, anyhow. I worked with the brand founders to build upon existing equities in the brand’s cannon to leverage into a brand new mark. Our result launched to Instagram with rave reviews, instantly finding its home with our customers.

Before and After

The previous logo featured IP belonging to a non-adjacent brand and it was time to move on. We combined existing equities with company slogan, ‘stay golden’ to create something new and uniquely Branwyn.

Existing Equities

Apart from the logo, Branwyn had two existing equities that contributed to the new mark’s creation. A distinct stitch featured on all of their garments, and a beloved slogan plus emoji combo.

New Concepts

Before going with a true heart plus ‘B’ mashup, I even presented new concepts to the duo of founders.

Outcome

The exciting new mark was decided upon and I provided files for all media usages.
