Gear Up Maupin is an e-bike rental service in rural Maupin, Oregon. Featuring the Deschutes River, scenic views of Mt. Hood and plenty of fresh air, my client offers epic adventures in the Oregon high desert. When I was approached to create this logo, a vision was already in place. The requirements for the piece would be to feature a bicycle, the mountain, river and an overreaching sun theme in order to draw in visitors from gloomy Portland. Our result was a fun and sunny symbol that cleverly incorporates electric themes into an outdoors crest.
