Vibrant local news journal and events company with a weekly readership of 35,000. I led the journalism and sales team in order to design and build out the paper every week. From cover scheduling to page layout and feature design.
'Picks' Page Redesign
When a page layout isn't serving the reader any longer, actions must be taken. We had a bloated and repetitive page with many useless stock images. I redesigned this with my journalism team's help to feature a flowing layout with more opportunity for cool art and easier way-finding via the red bars indicating days of the week.
